Hazleton street sweeping schedule – Hazleton Standard Speaker

The City of Hazleton’s DPW crews will conduct street sweeping March 17-21 in the Heights section of the City including all main streets, side streets and courts.

Street sweeping will also be done on Poplar Street from Broad Street to the Arthur Gardner Beltway. That includes all streets in that section.

Work will be done 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weather permitting.

Streets will be marked with the orange “Emergency: No parking in block/ street sweeping signs.

Residents should be advised that the Department of Public Work draws water to complete this task. As a result, residents may experience dirty water. Hazleton City Authority is aware and will clear it.
